Diese Installation nutzt eine vorhandene Lichtanlage als Display. Die Anlage

bildet über dem Grundriss des Galerieraums ein großzügiges Raster aus

quadratischen Lampenschirmen. Beim Einschalten der Deckenbeleuchtung

werden in den Lampen Ausschnitte eines locker bewölkten Himmels sichtbar.

Es handelt sich um Details einer Fotografie, die digital auf die Maße des Raum–

grundrisses vergrößert wurde. Die Bereiche, die den Positionen der Lampen

entsprechen, wurden anschließend ausgedruckt.

This installation employs the existing lighting fixtures in the exhibition space

as a means of displaying images. The lighting system consists of quadratic

ceiling lamps ordered in a widely spaced grid formation. When the lights are

turned on sections of a lightly clouded sky become visible. The images are

from a photograph blown up to the scale of the floor. The sections of the photo

are printed out that correspond to the positions of the lamps.
